Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of Insights, a Garmin watch application operated by Veloro Labs. By installing, connecting, or using Insights, you agree to these terms and to the terms that apply to the third-party services you choose to connect, including Strava and Garmin.
If you do not agree, do not use Insights or connect a Strava account.
2. The service
Insights retrieves information from your authorized Strava account and presents selected activity details, summaries, and routes on your Garmin watch. Insights is an independent application and is not developed, sponsored, or endorsed by Strava or Garmin.
You must have valid Strava and Garmin accounts, compatible hardware and software, and an internet connection where required. You are responsible for any carrier, connectivity, device, or third-party subscription costs.
3. Account connection and authorization
You may connect only a Strava account that you are authorized to use. You must not share access credentials, interfere with authorization or consent flows, bypass technical restrictions, exceed rate limits, or use Insights to access another person's data.
You may revoke Insights from your Strava application settings at any time. Data handling, retention, and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Insights only for lawful personal purposes and in accordance with these terms and the applicable terms of Strava and Garmin. You must not:
- Use Insights to scrape, harvest, bulk-export, resell, redistribute, or create a persistent archive of Strava data.
- Attempt to obtain another user's data or disclose Strava data to another person.
- Reverse engineer, attack, overload, disrupt, or circumvent security controls of Insights or a connected service.
- Use Insights or its data for artificial-intelligence or machine-learning training, evaluation, grounding, embeddings, retrieval, or model operation.
- Use Insights for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
5. Third-party services
Insights depends on services and technology provided by Strava, Garmin, Railway, network providers, and other third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. They may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue functionality at any time, which may affect Insights.
Veloro Labs is responsible for supporting Insights. Strava, Garmin, Railway, and other third-party providers have no obligation to provide support, maintenance, refunds, or assistance for Insights.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Insights to maintain security, comply with law or third-party requirements, respond to platform changes, or improve the service. We do not guarantee that Insights will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, compatible, or error-free.
7. No medical or professional advice
Activity information shown by Insights is provided for general informational purposes. It is not medical, health, training, legal, or other professional advice. Do not rely on Insights for emergency decisions or as a substitute for qualified professional advice.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Insights and all connected third-party services are provided "as is" and "as available." Veloro Labs and the third-party service providers disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security.
No third-party provider warrants that Insights or the data and services available through it will meet your requirements, remain available, operate without interruption, or be free of errors.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veloro Labs, Strava, Garmin, Railway, and other third-party providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, use, or business opportunity arising from or related to Insights.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Insights where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risk, legal obligations, third-party platform requirements, or a breach of these terms. You may stop using Insights at any time by revoking its Strava access and uninstalling the application.
Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and applicable data-deletion obligations.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when Insights, applicable law, or third-party requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
